My dad repaired bicycles in our back yard when I was a kid. I grew up with 2 mini twins and still have them both. When the local schwinn shop sold out in the late 70s my dad bought everything they had. I ended up with all the NOS scwinn parts he had. I got so many NOS parts from the late 40s to the late 70s. Many manufacturers stingray parts. NOS bat holders, vintage round stingray speedometers 0 miles, lights, turn signals , the works. Both of my mini twins along with quite a few stingrays I've collected have all been accessorized with these parts and have all new NOS bearings and caps. I've never really sold any of these parts and I've had them over 30 years. Boy riding that mini twinn everyday when I was a kid was some of the best times of my life.

ReplyDeleteI still have mine from 1967! It was a gift for me and my twin brother. Gold, Stingray, flat slick on the back. What a bike.
