Check out how these handlebars are set up.  I'm so about to rip this off.

Bicycle Carnie Game

"These photos were taken during an exhibition in the Tulip Festival in Ottawa. The exhibitor offered to challenge anyone to cycle on the bike for a set distance. I paid $5 for three tries. I didn't make it.

He managed to cycle smoothly in circles, which I'm guessing took a lot of practice. But he claimed that three people managed to do it within the three tries. I don't believe it!"

excellent!

Fixie-styled Cargo Bike?

It's hard to believe but it's true.  Somebody has build a crazy cargo bike with fixie styling.  The front is so hip looking with it's matching tire and bartape, but the back is just a mountain bike with a shopping cart.

Bicycle Rodeo

This is great.  A must-watch for sure!

Ridiculuos Gear Fixing Methods

I've searched far and wide for the most impossibly ridiculously cheap ways to make fixed gear wheels.  Finally, and completely by accident, I found a thread on a forum (bikeforums.net) which covers all of the cheap and dangerous ways people lock up thier wheels.  Some methods includ bolting a track cog to a disc brake, and jamming an allen wrench in your prawls.  One person even suggests holding the freewheel to the hub with zip-ties, a method my room-mate used without brakes to get around for an entire summer.  Dangerous!

DIY Disc Wheels

This is such a good idea!  It's just political signs and zip ties.  Don't think I won't be doing this for my self very very soon.  Naturally, I'll paint mine so they don't look like ass.

Found on this forum.

DIY Track Bike

I don't know if this image will show up, but I had to try.  It's also from the londonfgss forum.  Note the DIY steel Aerospoke and the cutout in the seatpost tube for the wheel.

More DIY Ultimate Wheels

This site has more ultimate wheels and more in-depth descriptions.

DIY Ultimate Wheel

This site is just somebody's personal site to feature thier unicycles, but they includ an ultimate wheel that they made.  I bet it's even harder to ride that a store bought one.

Cool Bike Party

Some of my friends at the Sharpe Community House in Cashville, TN.

More pix here.

13-Wheel Unicycle

Ultimate suicide wheel system.  Sorry I don't have a bigger picture.

Tallbike Tracing

This is really nice.  I am so gonna do this with some of my bikes.  Maybe we can meet up and do it before a ride?

Note the chain set up in a triangle.  I've been meaning to try this.  Also note the over-spoked wheel.

Clowny Bucking Bronco Horse Bike

The off-center rear wheel makes the bike ride with a bucking motion.  Check out the tiny chainwheel.

Fixie Tallbike with a Disc Wheel

Here's an incredibly dangerous idea: a brakeless fixie tallbike.  I can't get my head around who would build this?  What could be the point of building a trackbike/tallbike out of high quality components.

Giant Bike

Seems like another unridable piece of art.

Tiny Tandem and so much More

I LOVE vintage freakbike stuff.  This site has tons of old newpaper clippings of freaky, odd, and diy bikes.  Do check it out.

Atomic Zombie Skywalker Tallbike

Atomic Zombie makes some crazy-ass bikes.  They are mostly recumbents and trikes, but there two tallbikes and some choppers that are really impressive.

DIY Tandem is Held Together with Duct Tape!

I'm planning on adapting this plan to be a bolt-together and doing it myself.

Wooden Bike

This bike is entirely wood.  Even the chain.  Most impressive is the wood freewheel.  And the builder is only 16!!!  They made it for a school project.

Check out more pix on the link.
